Draw something purple, they said. It'll be fun, they said.
And hell, it was fun!

Well, my topic here is: fandom war.
Blah blah, X is better than Y. Why do you watch Z, it's for little girls. F copied G. No, G copied F u faggot. They both copied from H, it's so obvious!

Why can't we just all enjoy the things we like in peace?! Without bullying each other for what they like or do?
-No matter if sexuality, personality, clothing, favourite tv show or just the favourite brand of mayonnaise-

So I drew three purple feminine cats with huge ears, fluff under these ears, funny tails and red gems on their forehead. Without the one offending the other for being a "copy" or being childish.
(Espeon - Pokémon / Blaze the Cat - Sonic the Hedgehog / Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle - YuGiOh!)
I was searching for a purple cat digimon, but the closest I could get was Dorumon. And a prototype of a dinosaur fox bat (but with a gem on its forehead!) didn't seem very fitting to me, because... cats. Everyone luvs cats. And if Twilight Sparkle was a cat, I would have added her too. (or are there any purple mlp cats? I don't know anything about that series, living behind the moon, playing sonic games)

They look similar, so what? They are all awesome, the end!

_{It's been a while since I drew Umbreon or Espeon or any four-legged creature in general the last time. I fail. And I never was great at backgrounds. x3}

i alwase found fandom wars to be rather irritating myself.

(its nice to see some spirit day yugioh related art on Deviantart,) (as i recall there are only a few spirit day pics for yugioh)

And yes, these wars are not only irritating, but also very annoying and kinda unnecessary. =/

I haven't seen any yugioh related spirit day pics. Doesn't seem to be "popular" enough, what a pity.

DORUmon is classified as a Beast Dragon. But those with interest in prehistoric animals can easy tell that it is based on a non-mammalian Therapsid.

Yep, ofcourse not all of them do. Personally I think DORUmon most closely resembles Cynognathus or Thrinaxodon the most.
I also think that Gabumon ( and his variants ) aswell as Holydramon are Therapsids aswell.

Gabumon would make a lot of sense. I always wondered why a Reptile digivolves into a wolf. Holydramon always reminds me of the neverending story, somehow. x3 Fur dragons tend to confuse me. Therapsids would explain a lot here.

Yes in case of Gabumon and Agumon I figured that both repesent different Evolutionary Families. Gabumon represents the Synapsids, showing the Evolution from Non-Mammalian Therapsid to Mammal ( in this case the Evolution from "Pelycosaur" to Therapsid is omitted ), while Agumon represents the Diapsids, specifically the Evolution from "Reptile" to non-avian Dinosaur. That also beomes clear with their X-Forms: They are evolutionary more advanced and Gabumon X has become a primitive Mammal, while Agumon X is a Dinosaur. In that aspect it also makes sense that Agumon can evolve to Birdramon aswell.

And yes, Therapsid would make sense in case of Holydramon, although in that case it would be more like some kind of "Reverse-Evolution", given that it starts as a mammal.
